FAQ
Dual action polisher
Our BATOCA dual-action polisher comes with a 21mm orbit.
There are three colors of pads with three representing different cutting forces:
Maroon - This heavy-cutting foam pad removes light to moderate defects like swirls, scratches, oxidation, and watermarks. It restores gloss, depth, and reflection to painted surfaces.
Yellow - This medium polishing foam pad restores gloss and reflection after eliminating swirls and scratches.
Black - The black final finishing foam pad spreads the perfect coat of high-quality glaze, sealant, or wax for durable protection and adds shine to the most sensitive paint finishes.
Rotary spins in one direction, while random orbital spins in varying orbits. Rotary polishers are ideal for aggressive correction, but not suitable for inexperienced users. For beginners, the dual-action polisher is more ideal.
In general, all orbitals vibrate. However, they do not tire your arms at all. To reduce fatigue, you can use the auxiliary handle.
The dual-action polisher comes with a 3-meter power cord.
This dual-action polisher is not designed for smaller backing pads. Such pads normally cause excessive vibration and early tool malfunction.
Rotary Polisher
Yes, as long as you use a backing plate that’s 5-7 inches that can accommodate 5-7-inch polish pads or bonnets.
Rotary spins in one direction, while random orbital changes orbits as it spins. Rotary polishers are ideal for aggressive correction, but not recommended inexperienced users. The dual-action polisher, on the other hand, is more suitable for beginners.
The orange pads are used for automobile polishing and enhancing the gloss of the painted surface. Wave pads have greater cutting force than flat pads and do a better job at dissipating heat. The cutting force of the wool pad is lower than the sponge. Meanwhile, there are different materials of the bonnet. When polishing surfaces, make sure to do the following:
Step 1 - Using a wax applicator bonnet, apply wax.
Step 2 - Get the terry cloth bonnet, then clean and remove wax.
Step 3 - Use the microfiber polishing bonnet to achieve low surface friction, leaving a superior, deep lint-free finish.
Step 4 - Finish with a wool polishing bonnet. Use it to polish with a high-gloss shine.
The thread size of this polisher is M14.
Yes, you can smoothen wood using the sandpaper included in the kit.
The carbon brush turns the motor and transfers the electric energy to the coil, which changes the current’s direction. Since friction generates sparks, the carbon brush will be used less often. Therefore, they only need to be replaced after 3-6 months of use.
Cordless Polisher
Yes, the BATOCA cordless polisher comes with two 12V lithium rechargeable batteries.
It lasts for around 40-50 minutes and takes 50 minutes to charge.
The two 12V 2.0Ah batteries are powerful and last for many hours of polishing, so you don't really need spare batteries. However, if you do want extra batteries, we don't sell extra batteries at the moment.
The portable wireless buffer is 9 inches long and 5.1 inches in height. The weight is 2.4 pounds. It’s lightweight and easy to use but powerful at the same time. On the other hand, the polish pads measure 6-7 inches, and the polish bonnet is 5-6 inches.
The BATOCA 12V Polisher features a fully adjustable speed varying from 2500-5000 RPM. This is ideal for waxes, glazes, and sealants.
Yes. The BATOCA Cordless Polisher is geared with a brushless motor known to have stronger power and longer machine life.
